Prismacolor is an oil based color pencil used as an illustration tool. Patricia has been using this media for over 25 years, first learning the tool illustrating airplanes. She has won many awards for her prismacolor portraits of animals, most recently in 2008 at the Shasta County District Fair in the profressional division with a first place ribbon for her drawing of the "Cougar", and a second place in the same division for the "Grizzly", in 2009 she also received a first on "Eagle Dream" and a second for "Red Tail at Manzanita" all offered on this page. Other award winners offered here "Eagle Eyes" and "Jaguar" have also received blue ribbons at juried shows.
These drawings are available in Giclee archival prints on high quality acid free paper. Note cards are printed on quality acid free card stock.
